Subject: Re: Your India - Nepal
Tour with India Nepal Travel (Compass). How it was?
Dear Mariano
We were in a very similar situation. Both myself and my girlfriend live
in China so do not have access to "standard" European tours and
we could not decide which agent to use in India. In the end we selected
India Nepal Travel (Compass) somewhat by chance as their tours appeared
to cover most of the areas of interest for us. We actually went to India
in December of last year and I can recommend Compass most highly. I was
a little worried that the tour seemed quite repetitive, ie one Palace after
another. However, each day was a new and exciting experience. What is more,
Compass provided us with excellent service both in amending the proposed
tour to suit our needs (we also wanted to visit Bangalore to see a cricket
game and to finish our holiday in the Maldives) and in providing assistance
when the inevitable problems occurred (one of our internal flights was diverted
due to Fog and Compass made all the arrangements for overnight accommodation
and to get us back on our original tour schedule). They also provided us
with excellent transport (safe, clean and reliable vehicles with good drivers)
and superb tour guides - in particular, Bhawani Singh who accompanied us
in Rajasthan
I cannot praise India Nepal Travel (Compass) more highly!
Two final notes.
1) If you do go, don't forget to sort out your visas for India in Spain.
If you go on the "standard" India/Nepal tour, you will need double
entry visas for India (first arrival and return from Nepal). Nepalese visas
can be purchased on arrival, but do remember to take passport sized photos.
2) Try to pay Compass either in Cash or by bank draft. If you pay by credit
card they have to accept a 4% surcharge. Given their margins must be quite
tight, this is a lot to ask them to bear.
If you need any more help, please email/call us - and Enjoy India!

Subject: Your India - Nepal Tour with India Nepal Travel ( Compass).
How it was?
Hi Stuart,
We are a spaniard couple who want to make a typical India-Nepal Tour in
March. The spanish agencies do not offer exactly the tour we want and we
try to do it with an indian company. It is difficult to know which one is
good and reliable.India Nepal Travel (Compass) has given us your email address,
perhaps you are so kind to tell us if this company is good enough to rely
on them. Anything you tell me about your trip in India with them would be
very usefull for us.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Durjay
Thanks for everything as well you have very helpful and flexible yourself.
I had a good dinner at Narindars house. They fix the food that I truly enjoy
in India.
I hope you more more business. Person like you are rare, and I know you
will be very successful, because you treat everyone with respect and kindness
from your employee to your guest. Because there is a ripple effect, when
you treat your employee with respect that is an extention to the guest (
Tourist ).
Thanks for your help, give my regards to the family. and I will try to get
;you more guest.

Hi Varsha
It was a pleasure to meet you and i need to apologies for not writing to
you sooner...
I have had more visitors from USA and Canada.
My sister surprised us all and came over to see my dad as he left for India
last Thursday.
I have given him your contact deatils as he may visit Delhi area....but
i will let you know in due course.
Anyways we had an excellant trip with you and wish to thak you and your
staff for a very memorable and enjoyable, stressless trip.
It was my daughter's first visit and already she wishes to return to India....soon.
We are now booked to go to Canada in summer to attend my niece's WEDDING
in August.
She got engaged whilst we were in GOA and surprised us ALL. So our next
trip is already in planned.
Overall we had and excellent trip......
I will now just say that whilst everything was great ... it might help you
for future travellers...
Our driver was excellent and your services were great (meet and greet),
Your reps were great (including guides in Agra/Jaipur)
I will mention that the Hotel in Delhi we felt was a little run down...and
not upto scratch- need of renovation etc.
Jaypee was excellant, Clarks was good as well.
Your rep (guide in Delhi was not like the other...)
In CONFIDENCE i state that he tried to pass us as locals at 2 visits and
we were stopped....
I than gave him a STRONG TELLING OFFand told him that i was NOT a local,
our dressing was not local and we stood out because of our differences (no
disrespect) and that i had paid all my fees/entrances and did not want to
be embarrassed and asked unnecessary hassle!
I think he tried to save you some monies....by purchasing LOCAL tickets
instead of foreign visitor rates.
He succeeded at ONE location where we passed as locals!
but i ensured that he did pay the correct elsewhere.
Also whilst his English was reasonable pronunciations were on times difficult
to understand...but never mind.
I feel its only fair to let you know as overall we were very pleased with
YOU and your company and i will 110% recommend you to my friends and family
who are planning to come there soon...
Please keep my address. When you are in UK we would love to see you and
hope that you can visit us in Leicester. Incidentally we are TWINNED to
RAJKOT so we are well know..
Me, my wife Panna and daughter Nikita wish to again thank you for your
'gifts', your services and send you our love and best wishes for 2006.
Hitesh

Dear Varsha,
We have now returned from our Rajasthan tour and must thank you and Compass
for the excellent organisation that we encountered. In each a city a company
representative met us and the guides in all cities were fabulous. The
drivers were both friendly, courteous and more importantly, safe! The
hotels were excellent althought the Taj View in Agra did not quite meet
up with its sister hotels standards and service. I will pass on yours
and the Compass's details to our corporate travel section for inclusion
in their database and will happily recommend you to my friends and fellow
travellers.
Looking forward to returning to India! (Maybe Kerala?)
Kind regards
Deirdre Roosen

Subject: RE: feedback of urn tour to INDIA
Dear Varsha,
Sorry for the delay on this email. It has been really busy at work lately.
Regarding my comments, here it is:
I travelled to Jodphur with Compass travel during July 06. The service all
thoughout was perfect. I was worried about travelling on my own this area
so I arranged for an experienced driver to take around to the sites. The
company representative meets me on arrival at the station and introduced
me to my driver. He also monitored the progress of my trip and accompanied
me back to the station.
The driver was absolutely fantastic: drove safely, spoke perfect english
and knew where he was going, he had good taste as well. All this together,
for a driver in India, is pretty unusual...The car was also brand new, with
a/c and all the security devices. All my front seat pictures show the brand
new fire extingiser attached to the car-also rare in India. I felt so secure
that I had no problem jumping in front and enjoying the full view.
The booking of my train tickets was also well arranged and really lovely
guys dropped them at my hotel in Delhi.
The only thing I didn't like about my trip was the food. I don't eat Indian
food and even the best hotel in Jodphur didn't have good western food.
I survived on Ice cream, cheese and crackers!-no problem about that for
2 days..
It was a pity I couldn't do my whole trip as planned due to unexpected flight
cancellations but I am sure I will go there again and get it all sorted
and booked through compass travel. I would highly reccommend them.
Kindest Regards
Veronica
